Good that you do! Nice to see Newgrounds being like I remember, i.e. not empty. Thanks.

TSRBand responds:

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)

I feel like I just went on a journey to somewhere new, looks of new sounds from you here and I love it! It all sounds really professional and well structured.

The breakdown at 1.13ish was amazing, subtle and elegant.

Over I really love this! keep up the awesome work!

FortressLord responds:

Wow thanks a bunch man! I've been practicing (theory, mastering and beats) alone for a suprisingly long while, it's nice that the very first opinion I get when I return is so nice, and also helpful :3

Love the atmosphere and music box effect, it creates so many images in the mind of the listener. Great Job!

LloydeSorrow responds:

FortressLord responds:

Thanks a ton! Knew I could rely on you to get here fast, even when I'm missing a lot from not checking NG xD
This track has my new style, along with weird bass for me and themes I never touch... So I'm glad you enjoy the sound of it!

This is a very original piece. I can imagine a boss fight or climax happening with this playing.

Everything doesn't sound like it should work but it does. the off beat driving chords I think are great, they give a feeling of uneven uncertainty.

I think the drums could be louder and more complex to really drive this piece. around the 2.20 mark you have a really good driving lead but the drums feel repetitive. it could make the ending alot more interesting if you changed the drums every few bars rather than the formula you have atm.

Otherwise it is a good piece, it kept me interesting to the 4 min mark so great job!

thanks for the review
I got lazy at the ending :P
I will take what you said into advice

I really like the feel of this piece. To me it feels innocent and happy, with a slight evil undertone.

The intro is great and sets up the feeling perfectly. The lead is balanced well with everything else, the drums make it interesting so it doesn't feel stale. however around the 1 min mark when the lead slows down it feels it is lacking something to make it feel 'full'. I have hear very low backing chords, I think these should either be higher or have an accompanying choir with it. Just to make it feel more whole in that section.

The loop is great and I have listened to it for at least 10 mins without really noticing, great job dude!

cant wait to hear more!

isthatpie responds:

thanks for the advice I tip my hat to you :)

My aim is to write video game soundtracks and themes for web comics alike. I have been playing guitar for about 13 years and have recently put my hand to electronic sounds. Here are some of the sites I am on https://www.facebook.com/sharprainmusicuk ht
